Pumpkin Spice Mocktail Ingredients

Homemade Pumpkin Spice Syrup

  • 1/2 cup organic pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 3 Tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1/3 cup and 2 Tbsp water
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

Pumpkin Spice Mocktail

  • 2-3 Tbsp homemade syrup
  • 4-6 oz of sparkling or still water
  • 1/4 lemon (squeezed)
  • Peace Love Hormones Bitters (for liver and gut support!)

Directions - Homemade Syrup and Pumpkin Spice Mocktail

Step 1 - Homemade Pumpkin Spice Syrup

(note that this recipe makes enough pumpkin spice syrup for about 8-10 servings - easily refrigerate the extra and use in this recipe, homemade coffees or even on top of waffles or pancakes!) Add the pumpkin puree, spices and water to a pot on medium heat - stir for about 3 minutes.

Step 2

Add in the maple syrup, coconut sugar and vanilla extract — cook on low heat until bubbling slightly.

Step 3

Continue stirring until it turns into a *syrup* consistency (this helps it mix in with the pumpkin spice mocktail more easily).

Step 4

Pour the syrup into a glass container and refrigerate until cooled (or, place in the freezer for about 15 minutes to quickly cool it down!)

Step 5 - Pumpkin Spice Mocktail

To make the pumpkin spice mocktail itself - add about 3 Tbsp of the pumpkin spice syrup to your cup (add less or more depending on how sweet you like your mocktails), add about 4-6oz of sparkling or still water, squeeze 1/4 of a lemon and a dropper-full of PLH Bitters to support the gut + liver!

Enjoy your autumnal pumpkin spice mocktail!
