Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1-3 teaspoons cacao powder (be mindful of caffeine content)
  • 1 medjool date, pitted
  • 1 teaspoon coconut butter
  • Vanilla honey (optional, for sweetness)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ashwagandha root powder
  • Pinch of Ceylon cinnamon
  • Rose petals, for topping

Instructions:

  1. Combine Ingredients in Blender:

    • In a blender, combine the almond milk, cacao powder, pitted medjool date, coconut butter, ashwagandha root powder, and a pinch of Ceylon cinnamon. If using, add a drizzle of vanilla honey for sweetness.
  2. Blend Until Smooth:

    • Blend the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Heat on Stove:

    • Pour the blended mixture into a small saucepan and heat over medium heat until warmed through. Be careful not to let it boil.
  4. Serve and Enjoy:

    • Pour the warm heart-opening cacao elixir into your favorite mug. Optionally, sprinkle rose petals on top for a delicate touch.
  5. Sip Mindfully:

    • Take a moment to appreciate the warmth and nourishment of your cacao elixir. Sip slowly, allowing each sip to fill you with comfort and love.
  6. Relax and Reflect:

    • Find a cozy spot to enjoy your heart-opening cacao. Take this time to relax, reflect, and open your heart to the beauty around you.
  7. Note:

    • Be mindful of the caffeine content in cacao, especially if consuming later in the day or if sensitive to caffeine. Adjust the amount of cacao according to your preference and sensitivity.
    • Ashwagandha root has a very strong taste. If this is your first time experimenting with ashwagandha, try 1/4 tsp to begin.

Enjoy the warmth and love of this heart-opening cacao elixir!
